My “Firsts”.  The first time my ex-wife needed to take the strap to me.  The first time my dad’s lady-friend took a razor strap to me.  The first time I was spanked with my in-laws looking on.  The first time I was spanked at a party.  The first time I was spanked at a club.  The first time I was caned.

I agree with @spnkswtch- first times are memorable. Whether it is a first time with a specific person or an implement or position, I remember my firsts. 

Sometimes it is the type of spanking that makes it memorable - a really detailed roleplay or a silly birthday spanking.

The talking of my spanker while he's spanking me is what makes it memorable...the things they're saying as I'm getting spanked/paddled ....whether it be a lecture during a real discipline spanking or some gentle words during a fun relaxing spanking from someone who cares. Yes, for me, it's the words during that spanking that make it memorable.

As with many comments, first times are memorable. The first time my mentor spanked me (my first spanking) was both shocking and thrilling. The first time he caned me was unbelievably painful - though I certainly believed it when I tried to sit down to breakfast the next morning.

Hmm... Most memorable probably would be with my former Disciplinarian @DelvrsConsqnces- the first time we achieved tears during a punishment session earlier this year.

For me, what makes a spanking most memorable isn't which implement I used or how many times I have or haven't spanked this individual before. It's the depth of physical and emotional connection I feel with that person.

The circumstances surrounding the spanking determine how memorable it is. As a part of having sex, one spanking is not significantly more memorable than any other such time we do it. They blur together. As a punishment, spanking can be at the center of a distinctive drama that is difficult to forget — not that I want to forget it.

I agree,  the scolding is a big part it for me.  Recently she told me she did not want to spank me but she felt like she had no other choice.  I had been having issues for days. When she put me over her knee she scolded me about my recent behavior while she roasted my bare bottom wit the paddle.   

That night will live with me for a while.  When she told me she had no other choice but to give me a spanking. I knew I was in for it.  

I will not forget that spanking any time soon

My first spanking I ever received in my life was at 18, by one of my bosses, at work, who became my first Dominant partner. It was a unique situation I will never forget.

I also remember vividly the first time my current partner spanked almost 12 years ago. I dared him to come find me. I lost that dare. Lol.

Other memories are more from the situations or surroundings. Being spanked on a bench near a waterfall and seeing people walking on the trail above us...embarrassing. 

Also, him pulling over on the side of the road and taking me into the trees for a spanking. Or being switched at the river. Or being bent over a large boulder while hiking and being spanked.

Those spankings are the most memorable.

Your wife clearly has your best interests at heart. Although she did not want to spank you, she realized that you deserved to be disciplined and applied the paddle to your bottom. Just what was needed!

I would love to be spanked outside more - especially in the woods. A couple of memorable spankings I received were also pull-the-car-over types.

Ive been spanked outdoors quite a bit. We spend every weekend outdoors so it works for us.

I think it's that feeling of embarrassment or worrying about getting caught that really drives those spankings home.
