Profile views?

Recommended Posts

Why would someone look at my profile multiple times a day without saying hi? It makes me want to view their profile because I'm curious and the cycle starts over again. 🤨

Some folks are shy. They're maybe hoping you'll take the initiative when you see them there because maybe they don't know how. Others are curious. I fall into this group. I'll see a new name, look at the profile, realize the woman is like 20 years old and lives in Arizona, and I'll step back and say to myself, "No reason for me to act like a creeper," and then move on.

I'm sure there are other reasons, as these are off the top of my head.

Unfortunately, there are some people here who have no intention of getting to know people, let alone actually meeting. Despite the original intentions of the site, we have all kinds of people here, including ones just getting their rocks off to the idea of spanking.

Now, sometimes I will go to someone's profile multiple times. Usually it's because I've realized or think I missed something on their profile. Sometimes I'm right, others I'm not. This happens most frequently when I see a spanker who only spanks females has visited my profile, which yes, does require looking at theirs to find out.

How do you know how many times any individual views your profile? Let alone in one day?

On mine, I can see how many profile views I've had, but it's just the total number since I joined, not broken down by day. I can also see who the last five people to visit my profile were, but it doesn't say whether they visited my profile once or multiple times.

Typically, the way software counts page views is by identifying each device (computer/smartphone/tablet) that the page is visited from. Multiple visits from the same device in the same day (or whatever time period is used) count as just one visit, because it's the device that's being counted. If you got several profile views in a day, they came from different devices, which almost definitely means they came from different people. It's not one person coming back to your page over and over.

It says it like this. Non of the people listed here are who keeps looking. It's just one member who looks multiple times a day without even saying hello. It's one person who will click on my profile and it will show over and over them clicking on it different hours of the day.

I visit profiles multiple times. Usually, it's just me being forgetful, not realizing that I've visited the profile before. Or I see someone in the chat room and wonder if we've spoken or not so I click their profile to see who they are again. Or I just see a user is online, their user name looks interesting and I click it to see their profile.

None of this means I am specifically interested in that person, am stalking them or trying to get them interested in me by showing up in their profile views often. It just means that at that moment, I want to know who that person is again.

Can't speak for everyone but that's the reason people might find me in their profile views more than once.

I will have to try this on my own profile. Anyway, that does sound like stalking. Unfortunately, some people, even here, are creeps.

When I click on your profile it shows a lot more visitor names on it and mine only shows the last 6. It's odd that the person who keeps clicking my profile is female or claims to be female.

It's odd if someone keeps coming back that often, yes. I thought there was a way to hide the list of people who've viewed your profile? Or maybe you can just ignore that user through their profile? I'm hoping that they wouldn't show up in the list of profile visitors anymore.

There are female creeps too...

Nothing to it, it just shows the time stamp of the last time they visited.

On mine it's mostly just dates. But I just looked back and I did have one visitor 4 hours ago, and the last one before that person visited "Tuesday at 11:20 am." The rest were more than a week ago.

Apparently it says how many hours ago the visit was if it was less than 24 hours ago, day of the week + time if it was more than 24 hours but less than a week ago, and just the date if it was more than a week ago.

But I don't see the same person listed more than once in any instance.

At times when chat is glitchy, especially on my phone, I will click their profile to see who it is, then am like, oh yeah..

So, while I am guilty of checking someone's profile, its not multiple times a day.

Send them a message and ask them about it. If you get creeped out, could always ask a senior member to check into it, or block.

DaChief said it perfectly when he said he didn’t want to be the “creeper”. I’m not shy, but as an “older” man, I find it hard to approach people that might perceive my “hello” as creepy, especially if they are way younger female.

With that said, I have met some really awesome people of every age, gender, and background and am so happy that they are my friends. I’m always looking to add more friends, however it is tough sometimes for me to just say hi.

I get a little curious too. One reason is to see if your profile is what they’re looking for and to see if they’re within reasonable range to meet I’ll check someone out and see what they’re looking for and how far their location says they are
