Bare Feet

Where do fellow subs/switches stand (no pun intended) on being barefoot for spankings. I always like it as it helps with the feeling of vulnerability.

I'm barefoot as a general rule. I wouldn't see any reason to go put socks and/or shoes on for a spanking. Plus, my feet are almost as cute as my bottom. 😉

Sometimes I am barefooted, sometimes not. My husband nor myself have no real preference, so it is kind of what fits the moment I guess. I am spanked in various states of dress or undress. I do agree with you, though...being barefooted "feels" more vulnerable to me...but not nearly as much as being bare-bottomed...lol.

I totally agree.  I need to be barefoot, absolutely.  I just feel so much more vulnerable and childlike (is it okay to say that?). Truth be known, bare feet are an equally powerful turn-on to me along with spanking, so combining the two just feels right.

I have no preference in terms of vulnerability, but since my toes often are cold, I do like socks sometimes.

The only part of me that needs to be bare for a spanking is my bottom. Feet, it doesn't matter.

There is no rule in our house about being barefoot during a spanking only bare bottom or become bare during the duration of the spanking. Sometimes it depends on the type of spanking that is about to occur.

In my own home, outdoor shoes never make it inside past the mud room, where they are exchanged for "indoor" footwear (in my case, comfy slides). When going to administer a spanking at a vacation cabin or Airbnb, however, I wear either western or hiking boots. It really doesn't matter to me what my spankee has on for footwear, although I prefer socks to completely bare feet.

Like Bramblewine, I don’t have a preference. If an ER did, I would quickly comply.  Bare bottom is fine for most spankings, but for a severe disciplinary one, I like to be made to undress completely except for socks.

As a disciplinarian, I prefer those I spank to have socks on at least at the beginning of their spanking.  In some cases the socks may come off during the course of the spanking, since I typically continue to undress the person in stages until they are naked for the majority of the time they are being punished.  But most of the time the socks are the only thing which will remain on. 

There is something aesthetically pleasing about seeing someone wearing only white cotton underpants, which are eventually pulled down to expose them fully and then later removed completely, and white socks. This also works exceptionally well for corner time, or for directed self punishments as those become necessary in between the regular spanking sessions.

Almost always in bare feet because most of my spankings are just before bed.  I too like the vulnerability.  I am usually naked or only have a t-shirt on when I am spanked.  We agree that my bottom should be bare in the corner to make it easier to put me right over her knee at any point..   I have however, had my pants and underwear pulled down just before leaving the house and paddled hard to make sure I behaved while are out and about

Just guessing, tinie316, that you’re not attracted to foot fetishists 😀.  A long time ago I had a session with an ER who insisted that I massage and kiss her feet before she spanked me. That was a real turn off for me. Never sought her out again.

You would be correct. Lol I put it out there before meeting someone - feet are a no.  Eww I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I would have turned around and left. Lol  I don't blame you for not going back to her.
