I must admit that it is hard to stay in position at times, but I just try to hold on for dear life and breathe through the pain.

That thing can turn my bottom purple very quickly, but the color and pain fade rather quickly as well.

So while it is a very intense implement, it doesn't have the lasting impact of something like a wooden paddle or heavy hairbrush.

Anybody use a yard stick ? 

My girlfriend has been having a terrible attitude so I made her bend over with her albows on a seat of a chair.   No more than 10 smacks with that her ass was bright red.

Justin, your post shows that fancy new devices can't surpass the tried and true.  A yardstick is a wonderful tool, and it imparts a serious lesson.

It's got to be the belt for me. The first implement, other than my hand, that I learned how to use effectively. Also the only implement you can carry with you wherever you go and nobody thinks anything of it.

I find it too easy to break a yardstick due to the length, but was definitely spanked with one a number of times growing up.  My preference for stick type spanking implements would be two of the larger, heavier paint stirrer paddles taped together to double up the mass and thickness.  Hurts like hell, ask any of the women I spank with that. 

 

10 smacks is child's play.  Real spankings start out at 100 or more strokes.  Most of the ones I give are many hundreds, maybe even 1000 over the course of an hour.

Hi - Great question Chawsee!

The hairbrush!  Depending upon my ER’s approval of course since he makes all spanking decisions.

I think the hairbrush is the epitome of the perfect domestic discipline instrument!  I love the historical aspect, collecting them from antique shops and wondering who could have been spanked with them before.

I love the added intimacy of being over my ER’s knee as the hairbrush is vigorously applied to my bare bottom.  

The kicking, bucking, squealing, and tears that ensue so my ER has to hold me tighter with a stern reminder to be still.

Perfect for pj bedtime spankings since always kept near my bed. Versatile and easy to be displayed on my nightstand, sofa side table, kitchen cabinet or in my purse as a daily reminder of our roles and rules.
 
A common household item so if visible, guests don’t automatically assume they are also used for my discipline.

So many varieties to choose from!

For this EE, definitely the hairbrush!

Hi OTKM - Apologies if you provided an answer and I missed it.

So what is your favorite implement?

As an EE, I have been punished and disciplined with most mentioned above.  Although the hairbrush is more intimate and meaningful for me on the receiving end; I am sure most ERs would not think it was intense enough for true punishment and only consider it as an addition used prior to their favorite implement if they chose to consider it at all.  

Based on this thread, it seems to me that ERs chose their favorite implement based upon level of control, bare bottom positioning, degree of bare bottom impact, physicality of holding and directing the implement for punishment, intensity, punishment duration, immediate obedience and submission, EE’s reaction to the ongoing punishment, and overall punishment effectiveness.

But of course, as I believe ER’s should make all final spanking decisions, I have always been punished and disciplined with my ER’s favorite implement anyway (as intimidating as it may be).  But sometimes I get lucky and it is the hairbrush!

Yes!  Wasn’t thinking about the hand as an implement!  I also ❤️ hand spankings!  The larger and thicker the better!  Incredible when my ER’s bare hand spanks my bare bottom (flesh punishing flesh).
 
Great as a warm up that gradually becomes an intense, long, and hard thrashing (followed by a hairbrush for me!) 😉

lol...in our dynamic the spankings with implements are all about discipline...punishment...training. They hurt...sting. So...lol...no favorites really. So...from a purely selfish and lessening pain perspective...if only choosing one implement...guess I would go with....I guess the ping pong paddle he has used in the distant past, but not in the last 5 or 6 years. It still hangs in my closet, but he has not used it in a long time. I guess why I would pick it is...because it seemed to be a little less painful, did not seem to bruise me much, AND...because he always used it with me positioned over his lap and usually panties down. It was still very punitive, but I do tend to find those otk type spankings to be sometimes very arousing. I don't know why, and I know that is not his intention, but sometimes I just do get wet over his knee. By the way...he never permits my satisfaction in such scenarios. He is "strict" about keeping spankings intended for discipline...just that...and not sexual.

Great point Nicole!  I didn’t even consider arousal!

I totally chose the hairbrush and pontificated on my love for hand spankings as they are arousing for me too!

I also tend to have a deeper, longer cry with the hand and hairbrush because those spankings tend to be longer, I am in the comfortable OTK position, and I am holding onto him for dear life (usually placing my hands on his legs for support).

Like you, as an EE I would never choose a harsher implement (paddle, belt, strap, tawse, wooden spoon, painter stick, switch, cane, etc.) as my favorite or only because when my ER brings them out my reaction is: GULP!!!  

But of course the ER’s favorite implement will always be the one applied to our bare bottoms!  Since our ER’s are in charge during our punishment and discipline.

Your post reminded me that my mother through a time of I think just a few months in which she started using the yardstick on me and my sister. It was nasty, but to me not as bad as the wood paddle she seemed to "standardize" on. I think maybe the reason I did not dread it near as much is because I only got the yardstick from her over my dress. I think it was just not substantial enough to really hurt that much for me...but of course...I NEVER EVER told her that. I do remember taking the yardstick to my sister in just her underwear one time, though...and she really cried and had streaks of red all up and down the backs of her legs. I did not see her bottom, but she got it lots there too. I also saw my mother break the yardstick while using it on her. Lol...there "were" actually a few times in which my sister got it worse than I did usually...but usually...I was the one she really laid into worst, I think because I was the oldest. Shortly after she broke the yard stick over my sister, she quit using one on us. I guess that was why, but never really knew for sure.

So my ER read my texts here and decided:

“What a great reminder!  CL will be spanked today with her favorite implement (hairbrush) and a sturdier one (bath brush).  

So, over his lap spanked hard with the bath brush, the hairbrush, and bath brush again, sent to my room to reflect, then the decision was made I hadn’t learned my lesson completely.

Back over his lap a for a second much harder spanking (bath brush, hairbrush, bath brush) so now there is no doubt I learned my lesson! 

Also learned a second lesson: Since my ER is on SN, I need to post wisely to prevent additional spankings! 😉
