My go-to is nude, keeps things personal and intimate- does not have to be a "sex" thing- but there is much to be said about skin to skin contact. Some spanking is cold and impersonal, which can be great aka Formal school paddling or judical scenes. But for OTK and the like-  it is better if things are kept warm and connected.

Yeah, that’s how I see it too.  Not to say that I don’t appreciate a woman scantily clothed and wearing a mini skirt and heels, I do, but her dressing up like that for discipline wouldn’t seem like discipline.  It would seem like a session with a sex worker.  I tend to favor what a woman would wear at home in my house, say jeans and maybe a sweater, or like @Chawsee said, jeans and boots and denim.  That’s probably how she dresses at home, and I’m all for being disciplined by a cowgirl.  😘

I agree too. I like it when a woman wears something sexy, but when my partner disciplines me I find it better when she is fully dressed and I am in my underpants.

I'm going to twist the original post a bit in order to offer my opinion.  The original post was "what should a woman wear...?" I'd like to offer my thoughts on "what would you like a woman to wear?", which is an entirely different question.

What I enjoy a woman wearing has a lot to do with what kind of spanking is about to happen.  If it's foreplay or fun, then anything goes - nothing at all, a little something, lingerie, etc. If it's meant as a "real" spanking for maintenance, discipline, accountability, amends, etc - then it impacts me more if she is dressed in street clothes, albeit a dress, suit, jeans, etc.  I think in the same way that sometimes it actually makes you feel more naked to have on just a Tee shirt, or just socks, or your briefs pulled down - then it does to be fully naked, to me it feels ten times more vulnerable to be naked over the lap of a fully dressed woman.  I will confess however, that in terms of preference - there's something about tight denim on strong legs that makes my knees a little wobbly...add boots or heels and I'm done for...

Never in a million years would it occur to me to think I had any say in what my spanker was wearing. The thought has never crossed my mind. I'm curious if this is a difference between a male EE and a female EE, having to do with how men and women see each other.

Hi Zwheel. You are too kind. Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the Big Sky series, so I'm unqualified to answer your question.  I watch TV only when I'm at my roommates' "other" house, and then it's just whatever they happen to be watching. Am I correct that Big Sky is a crime-drama series?

Exactly. Big Sky is a crime-drama series, based on novels by C. J. Box. The casting and characters are brilliant, but for me some of the plot twists are foggy (or maybe I'm just dim-witted). From the perspective of a male EE, the characters Cassie Dewell and Jenny Hoyt are real spank-crushes.

What you write doesn't sound negative to me. But I see a difference between wanting to tell an ER what to wear, and having a preference or vision of what is most attractive or effective. In many relationships, the idea of usurping the authority or dominant figure's power of determination goes against the basic desires, but we still like what we like. The preference can be based on what makes the ER most attractive in our eyes, or it could be about an appearance that best matches the role in which we envision them. I don't imagine spankers as glamorous or seductive; it's more about the role relationship between partners.

I saw your question for women on another thread. I've read many times in the past where a woman has a clear preference for how a male ER dresses. For example, formal attire, like a suit and tie, is very popular. Another is a rustic "cowboy" kind of look. A physical attraction to the ER is an important consideration for all genders in many cases. I don't mind being attracted like that to any potential or imagined partner but, more important, with regard to the spanking angle, is how they fit the role.

My wife just wears whatever she's wearing when she decides to give me a spanking... I suppose there are times she changes out of office or church clothes knowing that right afterwards she is going to tell me "Now you're getting that spanking for..."
