I have always fantasized about being spanked immediately following misbehavior. oh my!    and would this "on the spot spanking" fantasy extend to include having your naughty rear end bared and spanked in front of whoever else might be present at the time?  I always think that's a 'powerful' motivator and enhances ALL the emotions of a spanking

Well, as long as all witnesses are consenting adults who want to witness then yes. I would love the added embarrassment of being spanked like a naughty little girl in front of witnesses.

A nice fantasy, but also a good way to generate an assault complaint from "whomever may be present at the time." That type of spanking might be better executed in front of other spankos who get it.

My bottom tingle at the thought of being taken out to the car to have my bottom bared and blistered. The embarrassment….but oh so effective in getting a naughty girl to behave.

We try to spank as soon after the infraction as possible.  Knowing full well not to offend non-spanko folks.  Outdoors, hotels, friends homes are a few places I have been spanked for discipline with as much discretion as possible.

I usually love the idea of the spanker prolonging the anticipation with various pre-spanking rituals, and drawing it out as long as possible beforehand, but the scenario you described is quite fun to think about, as well.  That type of swift correction would be very effective in keeping me on my toes and watching my behavior in the future. I feel like I'd be walking on eggshells even more. Much less chance of trying to talk/charm your way out of one of those punishments, lol. And I can't imagine the embarrassment of a witness present. I'd be mortified if a woman merely threatened to give me a spanking and someone else heard it.

I totally appreciate your fantasy. I wish the general world we live in would be tolerant of such in a relationship in which such was just a natural part of their lifestyle. But alas....once again, such is not the case....sigh....lol. My husband is a believer in spontaneous spankings, and has on a number of occasions dealt with me "on the spot", but mostly in private. However, my in laws are long term practicers of domestic discipline and wifely submission...and I have seen my mother in law dealt with in this manner several times. Likewise, my husband has dealt with me in their view in similar manner. Twice...we both got in trouble because of shared responsibility, and wound up with red bare bottoms in opposite corners of the room. I know my father in law spanked my mother in law on the spot in front of both his and her parents long ago, but that was long before my husband and I were even adults....lol.

aka : the  "Swift 'n Just ".  But then there are other times when "lots of addition contemplation time with which to let it sink in" about what's going to happen is more appropriate which makes the most out of leaving an impression.
