“This is the Life!”

I must confess that finding such unexpected delights does brighten my day - in this case, please enjoy a lobby card from a quickie Universal Studios film released in 1944 “This is the Life.”

Of course, the capsule description did rob me of some of my amusement (A young man (Donald O'Connor) follows his girlfriend (Susanna Foster) to New York and tries to end her crush on an older man), but that’s my problem.

Do any of you fellow spanking aficionados have older examples from film or television such as this to share? If so, by all means add them!
