I also mentioned this on a thread in the General Discussion section. Friday I bought an acadia wood cutting board with a small handle from Target. It is 11in by 6in by 0.5 in. The handle is maybe three in. despite the short handle, it is overall  long enough to get a good swing, and I guess acadia is a thick wood, because it certainly leaves an impression. I've only used it both cheeks at once but you can use it one at a time. Not sure it is quite as hard a spanking as the heavy bathbrush, but let's just say after saturday mornings spanking, I felt it whenever I sat into Sunday late Sunday morning. Great spanking, delicious after effect.

I have a wooden fan blade that is 17 inches long and 5 inches wide and about 1/4 inch thick. It will cover both cheeks or you can alternate.

I have a ping pong paddle wooden spoon and hairbrush that I use on myself and it burns my naked bottom and sets it on fire for days.  They also make it cherry red!!
