I'm confident it will remain in good hands. I have a question about the Spanking Needs Marketplace site, however. It seems all of the posts from after February 4th have vanished. It seems to me that if someone's own formative experiences include being punished as a child or seeing it happen to someone else that may be important to the context of a discussion and there should be nothing wrong with briefly including it. Spankmeal can get out from under the extra burden of the cost and time he was putting in and now we have an eager new owner to take the reins. It takes a community to run a site. Spankmeal is still involved and I appreciate his guideline very much through this process (and hope he stays on as staff). Hardly ever see a serious spanking related chat anymore. I'm hoping things take on a more serious tone rather than a site for sexual hook ups, game playing, etc. We've lost all of our serious regular members over the past two years because of the new tone the site took up. I can't remember the last time I was in chat to be honest, merely because of how much it has changed. The few times I have popped in, all I see is playing. Didn't we have a section for that or has that since been removed? Many of us wonder where all the "creeps" come from, correct? I suppose some enjoy it but, I for one do not! There are reasons that those annoying type members do not leave. By the way some choose to behave, they are encouraging it. The tone of how things of this site have changed is a turn off for many and is quite sad. Anyways, congratulations Child of Light!!! For those of you who do not know me (many new people here), I'm Poison's. Feel free to call me P. Child of Light joined this site less than a year after I did and we quickly became friends. She's been wanting to purchase this site for several years now. She has the experience to do it and is well respected around here by the people that do know her. I had searched for intelligent, informative, supportive content relating to my - as of then -not understood spanking need. This site has proven to be a beacon of sanity in an otherwise no so great sea. I have learned a lot about myself, my needs, and feel less weird, for what is an important part of my life. I read the site for a while before deciding to register, joining forums or sites like that on the internet is not something I very rarely do. I'm generally not trusting enough. I found this site however provided a lot of information, I began to feel more comfortable, and began to want to share some of my experiences and perspectives with others in this community. So I took the step and joined, and I am glad I did. I have seen the number of new posts decline, chat has not been of use, as others have said it is less about TTWD then I guess it used to be. The new software concerned me as it was not as good or easy to navigate then this software is, which I was afraid would drive people away. Seeing a long time member, such as yourself, being willing to take up the reins, is a great thing. I applaud you and thank you. This site is a great resources, a lot of good people, interesting perspectives, and willingness to accept those with a different bent or approach to TTWD. I self spank, out of necessity, and feel less like that is a strange thing to do then I did a year or so ago. As this site has helped me grow more comfortable with myself, I have found the benefit I get, stress relief, has increased. Rayanne Bostwick Posted March 4, 2019 Share Posted March 4, 2019 That would explain the random email I got saying my account had been hacked into...Then getting no response when I sent a message asking for access to my account back...And now that I'm logged in my activity shows no signs of unauthorized access to my account...Though I would like the info about how to ask to be spanked and such on the main site to remain there. I don't mind the stuff specifically aimed at teens going away (even though it was incredibly beyond helpful to me all those years ago when I was finding out my interest in non sexual spankings at age 14), as long as the other stuff stays. I'd actually be willing to volunteer to edit those so they're aimed at adults instead of teens so the info in them can still be available for those who need it. 1 Link to comment

I sent you an PM in regards to the first part of this asking for clarification for the wording of the email But, what likely happened (and happened to about 90% of our members); between the days of Feb 5th - Feb 21th (roughly three weeks); the site was almost impossible to log into. When we acquired the site (which was in-between that time); it needed a lot of work to it, that our developer spent a very long time restoring accounts. When it was refreshed most members that used their passwords, where told they weren't correct! And than as we finished ironing out some bugs our mail server wasn't working for a week and we made a couple threads here and here about it! Talk about bad luck? LOL! We are glad you finally made your way back to the site! We would acutely be up for idea's for write ups of the front page 2 Link to comment
