Yes, and it’s helpful to know that I’m not the only one.

I’m an active member of an episcopal church and have been for many years now.  Furthermore, I have a good relationship with God.  In prayer, I have been open with Him about my need for discipline.  I know He understands how important it is too me.

I am subject to traditional correction for purely disciplinary or punitive reasons (these are different)!

 

It hurts but is oddly reassuring. To paraphrase Aquinas,  the cane is quite unnecessary for absolution, but having been swished puts me in the right frame of mind for God's forgiveness. The cane is a painful implement but it's application is relatively brief. It stings momentarily, but it is very much less painful than an ongoing guilty conscience.

 

For me it is not overtly sexual: that is to say that there is no sense of 'gratification' associated with the cane and its administration.

 

The 'elephant in the room'  is that I am obliged to keep it secret: not because there is anything improper, but because people would assume that it WAS some sexual sado-masochistic  activity. The label of kinky is easy to apply and difficult to erase, whether accurate or not.

I have been a christian since the early 90, baptised in the holy spirit been involved in church since then. I'm a christian... I feel that I walk on my faith daily.. I've often wonder if was a sin... Bc I have need to have my butt spanked form time to time..

I am a Christian and have had spanking thoughts or been active in spanking all long as I can remember. I have battled many times with the feeling that maybe God didn't approve of spanking. I have finally realized that God made me this way, I didn't chose it. I think there are probably more (Church) people into spanking than you would believe. After all the entire thought process behind religion is to obey and be obedient to whatever you think of as God. Just my beliefs here so don't get offended anyone. I think Men need to be obedient to God and women need to be obedient to man in their life, weather it be a husband or boyfriend. And I think that is how God planned it to be.

I'm convinced that corporal correction is appropriate for adults as well as children. Proverbs describes the rod for the back of the fool.

But I am referring to correction (ie discipline or punishment) and not something aimed at gratification.

I am subject to the cane. It hurts and I dislike it intensely: but it's oddly reassuring. Think of the psalm 'thy rod and staff, they comfort me' and Hebrews 12 where corporal correction is seen as an act of love

Thank you for your post.   I'm a Christian too- Southern Baptist.    We all are sinner, and some  sins deserve a spanking, in order for us to change or break bad habits.   Being a spanko maybe a sin but I believe their are much worse sins.   As Christian,  I do wish the Church would take a more leading role in being pro- spanking.

As a follower of Jesus Christ I am always encouraged when I hear of other Christians in a loving marriage that does also include accountability for the wife. 

You obviously got spanked before a church service. Are reviews before going to church on Sundays your normal time for review? I am aware it is for more than one married lady. And told that unlike your church seats are not padded!

As a Christian I believe strongly that spanking is not always a sin. It can be if the spankings lead to sexual play with someone outside marriage. but for many of us who are Christians and spank its part of loving accountability. And yes I agree with you that spankings should be given if one is going to  change or break bad habits.

I am an active believer and a deacon in my church. As much as I want to spank, I cannot see doing it in any way that goes against my marriage vows. You can see the difficulty there.

As a complete outsider to this world, I hope  you will forgive my curiousity.

Is the idea that you are ok with a vanilla non-marital relationship, but that a DD or spanking one would be different, even though "all of these things are just natural desires."?
