Curious to know what people think of themselves.

I consider myself to be an introvert. I need time alone by myself and when I don't get it, I lose the ability to function that well socially. But when I have that time, then I am much better.

I'm learning to accept that about myself, but in the past, I have let others tell me that I need to be different. It's just been the past few years I have been able to understand that it is not bad to be an introvert.

My character of being a introvert or an extrovert is highly dependent on the kind of people I am surrounded with. I express my feelings in a much more succinct manner, and have the qualities of a typical extrovert person when I am with people whom I trust, feel comfortable with. However, in a group of strange ones, I am definitely a introvert. So, Probably I am a "mixture of both".

I'm very introverted and shy inside but tend to intimidate people because of my size. Not intentional. I like people very much. Just find it hard to talk. I clam up.

According to Myers-Briggs, I am an INFJ (introverted, intuitive, feeler, judger).

True.  True.  True.  And true ... judging not being judgmental, but more certain as opposed to uncertain.

I can socialize if I need to.  I just don't choose to given the option.  I recharge in my own time and space.

I always thought of myself as an extrovert. But I heard a program on the radio and by the authors definitions I'm an introvert. She also said one wasn't better than the other. Introverts spend more time thinking and when on a topic of interest tend to be as out going as anyone. I say I'm an extroverted introvert. But not so good at small talk.

I am an introvert too. I spend a lot of time in my head or reading. Not ashamed to be an introvert because I spend a lot of time learning... I am an observer not a participater in the outside world and observe things that other people don' t notice. If I have things to say I just say them in a different way to other people. I express myself through creativity and writing. I am not good at expressing myself in oral words but am better, than most,  at expressing myself through writing, art etc.... We are all different and that makes the world a better place. No one should ever be ashamed of either being an introvert or an extrovert... the world needs both.
