Swearing during spanking

Recommended Posts

Okay, so during my spanking today, a particularly stingy swat landed and I said 'Shit! That hurt!' to which she replied 'excuse me?' I repeated the phrase sans swear word and that was that (or I think it was. It was hard to tell since the spanking continued:(), but here's the question, should we (ee's) be allowed to swear, without penalty, during a spanking. I'm not talking a constant barage of continuous cursing, but sometimes, if the spanking is becoming intense, swearing is a normal response. Like hitting your finger with a hammer or slamming your foot into something really hard. Swearing is a typical reactionary response to pain and I think if an er decides to induce 'rapid fire', as she calls it, then I should be allowed to rapidly fire out a few words of protest. Any thoughts?

In my opinion, yes. It's unreasonable and mean-spirited to stress someone physically and emotionally to the point where involuntary responses are unavoidable and then penalize the person for having those unavoidable responses. I feel the same way about penalizing someone for being unable to remain still under an intense barrage of blows. You're essentially just forcing them into unavoidable, extra punishment, which is a lousy thing to do.

I suppose if it was beyond question that the spanking was light enough that you would reasonably be expected to remain in full control if your reactions it might be different and "penalty strokes" might be warranted.

I would say it depends.  For me I would say yes.  I try not to swear in my day to day interactions and I don't want my involuntary response to be one.  The involuntary can be trained and honed.  So for me yes.

However, I see the point though of not punishing for involuntary responses. It's like bonus swats for an erection.  Does not make much sense in most cases.

Back to the reliable..communication between top and bottom are key.

Well, when you swear during spanking, they are usually just a spontaneous response from our body. You do not swear intentionally. Just like we say "ow" when we get hit on something, swearing during "unfriendly" situations happens. It is not something to be taken as a reason for additional spanking. Unless and until you do not use often in your day to day life, this is just fine or even normal.

I totally understand that it is not a intentional word when the swearing happens during spanking. I don't mind that at all. I only focus on why the spanking is taking place. That's the main reason to be dealt with. Swearing during spanking is fine with me, unless and until the swearing does not happen in non-spanking times.

I don't think swearing  during the actual spanking should automatically equal extra spanks as it's like a object in the shed landing on you, most people would use a cuss word unless we're talking several minutes worth of liberally peppered back talk. Swearing just before or after to your mentor/disciplinarian is more a disrespect to something we've agreed to and know will happen apart from being generally unacceptable in polite company.

Swearing is just one more of the "bad habbits" that discipline shall help us to get rid of. I'm sure i would get a few extra if i did it. I mean if you swear during a spanking then you'll also not break this bad habit in the rest of your life don't you think?

Swearing during spanking is not intentional at all. It's just a sudden outburst of unexpected "situations". Just like when someone pinches you from behind, you say "ow". Swearing during non-spanking times is wrong, but during the spanking, I think it is just a way of expressing our "situation".

So, I guess I need to clarify something about the original thread, because I was told some here may think I got spanked for swearing. I did not. My spankings are not disciplinary in nature, but rather for stress issues. Although, she has made it clear that she doesn't allow swearing, which is an er's prerogative. I simply meant to use that example to open up a discussion regarding swearing. I did not in any way mean for it to sound like I was complaining about the spanking. I hope this clears up any confusion and my apologies if anything I wrote appeared misleading, that was not my intent.

I disagree with swearing being involuntary. "Ow!" is maybe involuntary, but swearing is not. You can temper yourself not to cuss. That said I don't mind a swear or two, I usually get some out of a spankee, but by all means it's not like it's some uncontrollable force.

I seriously worry about this because it is a hard rule for me. I don't think I've ever cursed while getting spanked yet, but I'm not sure? I think if I did she would maybe just remind me about the rules and I might get a harder swat or something. I don't think it would warrant another spanking? But it is a concern for me, so I do my best not to curse.
