Have not tried the ginger root yet; look forward to the experience one day.

Have spanked the anus on occasion, though my preference is to spank between one's cheeks; if the anus is hit, all the better.

Overall, like many of my male friends and I agree on: the butt is a canvas and must be covered everywhere. Viva la spankings.

I have had the ginger root aka figging inside me several times and it stings. But it must be freshly peeled and if you can a few seconds in the micro.

Also never refrigerate Ginger....it will also take away the burning effect. Ginger should always be stored in a cool dark place. It will last quite some time.

I cook with ginger all the time, and for some reason I always thought it should be refrigerated.  I'll definitely be storing the ginger in my pantry from now on, both for delicious recipes and in case I ever need to give a punishment!

Good idea. Mine is kept in a dark cool drawer with the potatoes, onions and garlic.

Storing in the refrigerator causes it to dry out, lose it's potency and decreases the flavor.

I have often incorporated plugs, dilation (with cheek spreading, of course) and enemas into romantic spanking (and, I've used enemas in purely disciplinary spankings as well).
