I believe anal play is a way of increasing submission and getting to the next level. I prefer to use a ginger root while I have my ee over my lap. As her anal juices mix with the ginger root it will burn inside her/his anus. That's when I like to ones on no movement for a solid 5 minutes across my lap. Once I pull it out I give a long hard hand spanking while rubbing the anus at times. It works well and gives the ER complete control.

I think its a level of intimacy and sexuality that for me, though it would be intriguing - I'd have a hard time allowing since I'm in a relationship. I have heard of that practice and would love to try it! An older lady introduced me to anal play years ago and she recommended that I find a disciplinarian to further explore that with. Sounds like a natural progression for a discipline relationship!

Since most of my spanking experience has been punishment and not for play, I'm not sure that this is valid. But I can vouch that ginger root increases my discomfort during a caning like nothing else I've ever experienced. It alone could have had me in tears and taught a lesson, without the cane. I've also had plugs and enemas used during punishment sessions, both added to my discomfort and embarrassment and were on their own an effective way to discourage the type of behavior I was being punished for. That being said, I am not fond of any of it. It was not erotic for me and it was a good form of punishment for me because of that.

i dont use ginger root ever during punishment or even for play because if its not used or done properly you can cause serious injury and discomfort to the spankee

Another issue…and just a caution, is that the anus is not really meant for the use we are tailking about so care needs to be taken…like lubricant and TIME…ALso be aware there is lots of funky germs! Be careful out there!

This is interesting, as an ER one of the principles I have, is to give what I have received in the past so I have some idea of what is being experienced, I have never experienced ginger, al though that has cropped up as a discussion point with one woman who I mentor. So I too am following this with interest. I think my reservations relate to 2 things one expressed by elzorro, the other by small town spanker. 1) concerned about health issues 2) my spanking relationship here us non sexual an this seems a step perhaps too far in that direction.

Ginger is natural, something I have tried many times and I have never heard of it causing any health problems. I have a lot of sensitivities and allergies when it comes to my skin, etc and it's never caused me anything except for the discomfort it was intended to cause. Well, maybe a little bit of hollering and begging as well. That dang stuff burns!!

As far as it being sexual....sex is what you make it. Spanking is intimate no matter if it is sexual or not.....but then it depends on where you take it. You can head for the bedroom or you can give the hug and aftercare and move on. Figging can be the same. The only real contact would be inserting it and taking it out. If that is something you feel would be too intimate, you can have the woman insert it and remove it herself. I have heard of a few doing it this way to avoid any intimate physical contact.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents from my experiences..

By the way....Elzorro...if you use lubricant with Ginger...it removes the burning effect and it's really no more than a plug. Ginger lets out its own oil and will feel wet. It should insert fairly easily. So, No Lubricant.

Also never refrigerate Ginger....it will also take away the burning effect. Ginger should always be stored in a cool dark place. It will last quite some time.

I sometimes apply Vicks Salve to the anus (not inside the rectum, no insertion) during a spanking session.  I gives a nice burn, not sexual since no insertion and does increase the burn when the ee clenches.  Something to try anyway folks.
