I thought this would be a neat topic for Daily Banter to see what everyone's taste in music are. Just simply state what musical artist you are currently listening to which would include the name of the song or album as well as genre. I'll start things off! This morning I am drinking my coffee while listening to Poses, By Rufus Wainwright. I adore this album. Genre would be considered Baroque Pop, Folk, and Indie. Released in 2001

I really love it, always trying to find new tracks and new artists. It's one of the only types of music I can listen to while I'm studying or trying to figure something out, and not feel distracted. I've been listening to a lot of High Contrast lately If you listen to DnB, post your favorite artists/music here.

Maybe not the best spanking scene I've ever watched, but probably the only one that's written as a modern opera! As a musician, I'm not quite sure what I think about it. On the one hand, the music is pretty strange and the singing isn't the greatest. On the other hand, the composer managed to get a singer spanked OTK on stage, which you don't see nearly often enough in concert halls. So I have to give him props for that at least. What do you think?

Apparently this singer makes up short songs based on fan requests. Somebody suggested a very interesting topic.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDQ1kV7k52g

This is a cover of one of Josh Grobin's versions of the song. The instruments were performed on an Ensoniq SD-1 synth workstation and the drums were played on a Roland TD-20 electronic drum set. Sorry the vocals are not so good. I hope it will be uplifting. That is my purpose for posting it. Tal You Raise Me Up http://k006.kiwi6.com/hotlink/lixnca5adi/you_raise_me_up_vmt.mp3
