Corporal Punishment.... an evocative phrase conjuring up images from a spanked bottom, through school punishments to brutal judicial floggings. I am not sure what started my fascination with Corporal Punishment. Perhaps it was accounts in books such as Jayne Eyre and the harsh environment of Lowood School. I do not think I ever finished that book, I never got beyond Jayne Eyre being Birched. Jayne Eyre - Lowood School I think the first ever proper spanking I saw was in a film called 'Roots of Heaven' where a lady received a 'good hiding' Roots of Heaven I have a deep interest in the school setting, maybe it was seeing the St Trinian's films, and the tantalising glimpse of the cane, though sadly never used, that aroused those interests. The first time I realised I was not alone in my interest of spanking and Corporal Punishment was when I came across an American magazine called 'Sting' An then I discovered 'Janus'. An UK magazine which often had a school theme. There were pictures and stories of schoolgirls being punished, as well as a letters section with some true life accounts. A new level of interest arose, and how I used to wait in those pre-internet days for a month between issues. The fascination has been a lifelong interest
I discovered 'Janus' UK magazine which was a revelation. A magazine published in the UK which indicated that there were many others interested in Corporal Punishment, and often had a school theme. There were pictures and stories of schoolgirls being punished, as well as a letters section with some true life accounts. A new level of interest arose, and how I used to wait in those pre-internet days for a month between issues. Janus was first published in 1971 under the title of 'Mentor'. It became 'Janus Mentor' in issue 5, then Janus. It must have been 1976 I first came across 'Janus' in a local newsagent. A visit to London gave the opportunity to visit the Janus shop, then located in Green Court, Soho. Janus Green Court The shop moved to 40 Old Compton Street, and whenever I was in London I would visit the shop. The magazines were available locally, however it was then the only place to purchase videos for the newest gadget, the video player. There were booths where you could view the videos, At the end of 1980 the format changed and the previous Volume and Issue Number was replaced by continuous numbering The advent of the internet meant one did not need to wait a month to read about Corporal Punishment and see thousands of pictures could now be viewed. Similarly thousands of videos could be viewed on online. The final edition of Janus was published in 2007. Old Compton Street once the centre of the CP world was replaced by computers that could be accessed anywhere. The Janus Shop closed April 2011. Janus had made an essential contribution to those with an interest in Corporal Punishment for 40 years. The internet now provides so much. Though it is always good to see some of the old classic Janus pictures, the availability of thousands of images is so welcome. The internet also brought about communities such as this one where like minded people can discuss the fascination of Corporal Punishment. https://www.janusworldwide.com/store/images/JanusHot100.mp4
Pandora Blake the spanking webmistress has effectively been censored as of 27/08/15.The decision is a bad day fo liberty agreed but one has to say that Pandora has had a charmed life really. I met Miss Blake when she began her career in cp when she was a fresh new model enjoying spanking. Within a short time she was a model-party girl under the wing of Josie Marks ad other scene girls circa 2006.Even then she was distant and considered herself cut above the pack. She made private comments about one of the scene girls from the Midlands being uneducated. Pandora we must bear in mind was born with a silver spoon being privately educated at xxxxx. It was inevitable would soon put her education to good use particularly her web skills t good use and in circa 2006 launched her first site... a blog of sorts. Pandora modelled fo alsorts of sites taking god canings which helped finance her own career but rather than be grateful often made snide remarks about the other web producers. Her comments about SOL particular offensive yet she went back to work for them time and time again. Two-faced? Well the £600 fee may have helped her forget how bad they were. It wasn''t long before she posted on her blog the notorious comment about 'wanky-men'. The same wankey men who paid for parties and of course later joined her subscription website taking punters money.Hypocritical? Pandora began to wade into the politics of the scene after a model complained about a spanking shoot and wanted to set up a new site to review producers. She was advised privately that her planned attack would be aimed at two of the most respected scene players and t call off the dogs as her new hobby horse was based on a delusional testimony. I put this down to her being early 20's and a bit opinionated nothing more.Trigger-happy? Then came Dreams-of-spanking which unleashed her creativity and political muscle. Oh it was Fair-Trade- which still had a pay turn-key of course so wankey men could finance her career..Joining the paysite was a poor decision on my part, which as a wankey man I was still accepted as Pandora liked my money. She of course thought her work superior to other producers including anex BBC cameraman. I found her own camera style a bit seasick to sy the least but fantasies passable, Pandora performing bad acting. It occurred to me that back in the golden age of spanking Ivor Gold, Sophie Fenington, Blushes, Janus, Strictly English et al the chubby Pandora would NEVER have have been cast. She is overweight and ugly. Ivor would never had put up with her feminist rent-a-gob attitude either. The digital age made Pandora, allowed her expression where otherwise she may not have seen an audience. Ironically it is now the digital age that takes the cake away. In the 70's people laughed at campaigner Mary Whitehouse and rightfully dismissed her as a fanatic. Now the Whitehouse brigade have gone digital themselves controlling ATVOD. Our dear spanking has met her match. Pandora and ATVOD are two peas-in-a-pod and unfortunately have ruined spanking in their own unique ways. C'est la Vie Pandora's time has gone let us hope that the new arrivals are more gracious and fun. Ozymandiac ego who will now have to think about getting a job instead of poncing off wanky men:_)
