Corporal Punishment

no comments yet? whut the '. i mean c'mon, schoolgirls, punished corporally! welll...as a USA-er, the idea of the seemingly semi-sophisticated nature of Old World Across the Pond spankings has always provided a nice contrast to what perhaps best constitutes our version, maybe best represented by, i think it was john wayne, in that movie, whatever it was. is. the simpler grab 'em, throw 'em across, whale away paddling  approach, i mean. did they punish schoolgirls thusly in the Old West? Here's hoping!!!

It certainly all started at school and stayed with me ever since. I remember buying the Margaret Stone book many years ago.

In Spain, many years ago, and especially in Catholic schools and boarding schools, we did not have cane, strap or tawse, or paddle... we had the wooden ruler, slaps in the face and the belt.

disipline in my school was strict.
